Academic Intellectual Capital Scale: A Validity and Reliability Study

The aim of this study was to develop a scale instrument for measuring academic intellectual capital in the Turkish higher education context depending on student perceptions. sample consisted students institutions 2020-2021 year. Data were gathered two stages. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) conducted first stage and Confirmatory (CFA) second stage. EFA 538 studying 96 while CFA 492 112 institutions. Principal Axis Factoring (PAF) extraction Promax rotation methods used EFA. Results showed that had three-factor structure with 20 items. confirmed CFA. Cronbach’s alpha, stratified Composite Reliability McDonald’s omega calculated order determine reliability scores obtained from scale. Item discrimination verified by calculating item-total correlation item-remainder correlation. Also, t-test carried out between upper lower 27% check item discrimination. Analyses making use R (ver. 4.1.2) RStudio 2021.09.1 build 372). Overall, results Academic Intellectual Capital Scale valid. measurement tool concluded have three factors items, all affirmative form.
